Sunday 3 September 2pm-5pm
Cost: £6/£5 W&BA members
We start our walk at Ringsfield Church, where a 20th century memorial sculpture commemorates a French princess. We continue for one mile along a track through farmed countryside to Ringsfield Hall Eco Activity Centre. Here we re-awaken our senses on a meandering earth walk experience which connects us to the natural world. There will be time to enjoy some creative activities: meet a tree using all your senses; use a special mirror to create an eye in the sky and navigate your way through the magical grounds. There will be a chance to make a cyanotype (sun picture) using light sensitive paper and the walk will end with foraged teas and delicious homemade cake around an outdoor fire.
Meet at Ringsfield church car park, opposite church. NR34 8JZ
Total distance 2.5 miles. This walk does involve leaving paths and active participation – suitable for families/children
Tea and cake included
